**iBET,** has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Plant Biotechnology available within the project “Optimizing Plant Performance under Climate Change Scenarios “, **Ref. 792**, financed by iBETXplore.
- Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Master´s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related areas, with a minimum grade of 16 (out of 20) and 18 (out of 20), respectively;
- Laboratory experience in plant molecular biology, including model cereals (_Oryza sativa_);
- Experience in transforming rice plants and their molecular and physiological characterisation;
- Experience in photobiology;
- Knowledge of RNA-seq data analysis;
- Availability to spend time in a photobiology lab in Germany;
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills;
- Excellent English knowledge;
- Immediate availability;
- Be enrolled in a PhD, or in a non-academic degree course, in accordance with the Article 6th of “_Regulamento de Bolsas de Investigação da Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia_, I.P. from FCT”, law in force.
- Contract Duration & Category
- The fellowship will have a duration of **3 months**, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is **1 of April of 2025**.
