Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain organized accounting based on the regulations in force in Portugal;
- Verification of the general and analytical trial balance in accordance with accounting and tax standards.
- Registration and validation of accounting entries.
- Bank and current account reconciliations.
- Classify accounting documents;
- Carry out the calculation of taxes and ensure the management of tax obligations.
- Ensure monthly and annual closures.
- Perform reporting and preparation of annual reports and accounts;
- Carry out salary processing.
- Ensure the management of employment contracts.
- Management of the relationship with official entities, namely, social security and finance;
- Ensure legal compliance in administrative, financial and human resources matters.
Knowledge and experience required
- Higher education in the area of Accounting, Management or related areas;
- Active registration with the Order of Certified Accountants;
- Professional experience in similar functions in service companies (up to 5 years);
- Mastery of MS-Office, namely Excel;
- Knowledge of TOConline and other accounting software;
- Good knowledge of the English language;
- Initiative and proactivity;
- Sense of responsibility;
- High analytical skills, sense of organization and planning.
