Our Moving, Fairs & Events division is looking for a Operational Technician to join the team As the central point of contact for customers and partners, you'll orchestrate comprehensive logistics operations with precision, agility, and top-tier service. This includes international coordination across all transport modes, customs procedures, onsite logistics, and real-time communication with a wide network of professionals—from agents and carriers to fairground logistics teams. **Key Responsibilities**: - Daily coordination of complete logistics solutions, including multimodal transport, onsite support, and customs handling. - Manage schedules and service arrangements with carriers, vendors, agents, and customs brokers. - Handle customs clearance documentation. - Validating and overseeing costs with suppliers and logistics partners. - Request invoice issuance and dispatch invoices to clients. - Maintaining consistent communication with customers to ensure high-quality service. - Willingness to travel internationally 2 to 4 times per year for onsite support at fairs and events. - Availability to remain reachable during operational execution of projects, including weekends. **Requirements**: - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in international freight forwarding or transport logistics. - Understanding of customs regulations is a plus. - Preferably with educational background in logistics, international trade, supply chain, or related fields. - Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook. - Strong verbal and written English communication skills. - Customer-oriented mindset and adept problem-solver. - Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration. - Team spirit: supportive, communicative, and proactive. **What we offer**: - A role in a successful and dynamic company. - Work alongside a high-performing and collaborative team with expertise in all transport modes. - Flexible and supportive work environment. - Career development opportunities. - Private medical care. **DSV - Global transport and logistics** Working at DSV means playing in a different league.
