**About the Job**:
As a Finance & Accounting Specialist you will have a love for numbers combined with a strong business sense.
Being able to put people first is key for this role: communication, trust, collaborative work will be as relevant as any accounting and financial experience.
You will be part of making critical business decisions by analyzing and presenting relevant financial data. You will also perform all accounting, payroll processes and governmental procedures and share, update, analyse and record data that is relevant for our people and our organisation in Portugal. Knowledge of Transfer Pricing, UK GAAP and IFRS will be valued, as you will be working with UK and US accountants for Year End closing.
The goal is to contribute to the decision making process that will ensure business sustainability. It is essential to be a Member of OTOC (Técnico Oficial de Contas).
Expected travelling time (UK): 0%-15%, varies according to organisational needs.

- Detailed and outstretch view on data and its impact;
- Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team and company purpose.
**You are good at**:
- Data analysis (revenue/costs/expenses trends/forecasting);
- Managing cash flow, Payroll and payments to suppliers;
- Organizing accounting documents and supporting staff needs (including T&E);
- Preparing and filing tax returns, VAT and annual statutory accounts;
- Preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments balance sheet;
- Monitoring legal and regulatory requirements that can impact the accounting/labour/financial area.
**About You**:

You also have experience in working with financial accounting with medium/large companies with international locations.
You enjoy being hands on, and find it easy to work around details as well as the whole picture, and are enthusiastic about continuous improvement.
