We are looking for a talented Head of Data to drive our data strategy. You will build and manage the data team, bring your own experience in leading high-performing teams, drive the development and evolution of our cloud-based data platforms and data infrastructure.
This role and the team will be located in Lisbon (hybrid & flexible work model). We are looking for someone who is humble, hungry and smart; with a strong track record in an integrative data role between product and technology teams at product-led growth companies.

**What you will do**:

- Focus on data availability, explore current databases and evaluate missing data layers;
- Drive our strategy towards data integrity, while focusing on the right architecture and its scalability;
- Build data availability models for the whole company;
- Cater to the diverse needs of the various internal and external stakeholders in relation to data;
- Own a strategic vision, being a leading voice for data at a company level;
- Mentor, support and advocate for a data-first approach;
- Implement data quality and governance practices across the organization.

**What you will bring**:

- At least 6+ years of experience in the data field, including 2-3 years as a Head of Data or a similar position;
- Experience in leading high-performing teams to develop analysis, modeling, experiments and data tools, following the best practices;
- Knowledge with Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, Kafka and AWS;
- In-depth knowledge of: Data Mesh, Domain-Driven-Design, Data Warehouse vs Data Lake, ETL vs ELT and batch processing and real-time streaming;
- Excellent communication skills (fluent in English, both written and spoken), with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
