**Purpose of Position**:
Lead NetJets Europe (NJE) Aircraft Fuel Efficiency programme and identify initiatives which can evolve best practices within operating aircraft and flight planning to reduce fuel consumption. Implement a fuel efficiency programme within NJE and become the Subject Matter Expert of the software the company chooses to leverage. Work with experts collaboratively within the organization to ensure that fuel policies are implemented, documented (updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)) and embraced, and also become part of the operating culture
**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Act as lead expert in NJE Aircraft Fuel Efficiencies and manage the aircraft fuel efficiency programme;
- Manage the tracking of fuel saving initiatives with standardizing and documenting the methodologies used for tracking, while contributing to the setup and validation of annual fuel burn and fuel saving budgets;
- Responsible for fuel data quality & management related tasks, including administration of the company’s fuel management information system’s data and analysis accuracy, as well as hosting recurring status calls with relevant system vendors;
- Provide expertise to the business on all topics operational fuel related.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to identify opportunities and threats related to fuel efficiencies at NJE;
- Coordinate accurate reporting to assist the finance team in emission tracking and reporting from a fuel burn perspective for both CORSIA (when applicable) and EU-ETS schemes, including data quality & completeness verification and liaising with vendors and external verifiers to ensure NJE is compliant with all relevant reporting requirements;
- Coordinate with other departments to implement fuel saving programs. This involves working with dispatch and Flight Operations key management personnel;
- Monitor the fuel efficiency program throughout the year;
- Troubleshooting and problem solving to improve fuel efficiency.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's in Aeronautical Engineering

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)**:
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent/relevant experience;
- Experience in a similar position in aviation industry (preferred);
5 years of experience within an Operations (Aviation) role;
- 3 year of experience with data harvesting, handling and reporting technologies;
- Knowledge of aviation legislation and regulations;
- Knowledge of commercial aircraft operations in Europe;
- Project management skills;
- Good proficiency in MS Office;
- Fluency in business English (written and spoken).
