**As a Cross-Functional Legal Advisor, what are you going to do?**
- Oversee legal and regulatory obligations, ensuring that VB Group (headquarters and its subsidiaries) complies with the law;
- Provide expert legal support in complex and regulatory matters related to employment, IP, insurances, Finance and other Cross Functions areas;
- Comply and assure compliance with VB policies & guidelines;
- Form relationships of trust and consistent lines of communication with key functions inside the company (Product, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and others);
- Review and negotiate contracts with the Company´s suppliers;
- Ability to appoint and manage external stakeholders (especially to engage with external law firms).
**What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?**
- Law degree;
- Registered in Portuguese Bar Association (preferential);
- At least 3 years of legal experience;
- Specific Knowledge: Labor Law, IP Law, Civil Law, Insurances;
- Previous experience as an in-house legal counsel in a fast-paced industry environment (preferential);
- Ability to understand and digest complex problems and to easily communicate with non-lawyers clearly and concisely;
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English (legal English) and Portuguese. Other languages will be considered as a plus;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
