**Business Unit PaPM**

The Business Unit Profitability and Performance Management (BU PaPM) is responsible for our analytics business with SAP PaPM at the core and currently extending its scope to SAP SAC and DWC. With our solutions and services, we help our clients across the globe to create more transparency about their business, provide better basis for decision making and increase efficiency & profitability. The solutions we offer to our clients are often industry specific as Cost-to-Serve for Retail or Planning & Simulation for Insurance or focus on a certain functional area like Transfer Pricing, Profitability or Sustainability.

**Your Role**

Role of **People Manager/Presales Principal Consultant (M/F/d) **for Europe is part of our global teams and is working in close cooperation with our BU Heads as well as Presales Lead and Country management to strengthen our teams and develop our analytics business with clients in Europe. Main responsibilities of this role are the active management of the team of consultants in the area of PaPM and SAC, support of PaPM and SAC opportunities, the interaction with clients, fostering the relationship with SAP and global SI partners and the preparation of compelling presales stories and material to successfully position PaPM and SAC in the market. The individual will deliver results through unparalleled professionalism leveraging a superior presales and consultative approach and strong knowledge and expertise of msg’s products and related services. Responsibilities will include, although not limited to, the following:
**Your responsibilities at msg global**
- Manage a team of experienced colleagues in the areas of PaPM and SAC
- Stay up-to-date on guidelines, policies, trends, and best practices related to sustainability reporting / CSR
- Work with Regional/Country Management to develop our Sustainability business, both License and Services opportunities, with clients in Europe
- Support SAP and partners in preparation of client events and workshops
- Prepare and run presales meetings and demos or project engagements in the Sustainability area
- Support SAP and partners by preparing compelling proposals
- Provide expertise in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) to clients across multiple industries (Insurance, Banking, Retail, High Tech, etc.) in the areas of corporate sustainability and EU-Taxonomy (SFDR/NFRD)
- Communicate effectively with client, SAP and msg global BU and Country management
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and prove ability to develop new markets and clients
- Responsible for achieving key presales outcomes while adhering to business goals and deadlines
- Look for opportunities and engage in up-selling or cross-selling to existing customers

**Your Professional Skills**
- University/College degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Management, Economics, Environmental Science or related.
- A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in software solutions consulting, software industry, Sustainability consulting or Audit.
- Experience in full life-cycle software solution implementations
- Experience in managing teams, ideally from the consulting area
- Experience in sales and presales processes, client relationship management, partner relationship management
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements, adjust direction and priorities within fast
- paced and multi-faceted work environment through strong organization, time, detail, and sales management orientation
- Experience in the area of sustainability, for instance GHG inventory, ESG, CSR, climate change, EU Taxonomy, TCFD, sustainable investing, etc., preferably in combination with IT, either in development or implementation.
- Adept at dealing with challenging client and presales team situations, and able to establish yourself quickly as trusted advisor to customers
- Capability to speak and address business needs in the area of performance management and explain the value of the IT solution in that context
- Ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptab
