**Senior Global IT Support (100%)**

In this newly created role, you will be supporting the global HeiQ group and will report directly to the Global IT Infrastructure & Security Manager, Head of IT Support.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond to support requests in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal disruption to daily operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or appropriate teams when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Assist with user account management, including creating and disabling accounts, password resets, and access permissions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, antivirus scans, and backups.
- Monitor network and system performance, identifying potential issues and taking appropriate action.
- Provide support and guidance during software deployments and upgrades.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees, including computer setup and basic IT training.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and improve IT processes and procedures.

**You are**:

- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with Windows and Mac operating system.
- An excellent communicator in English and skilled at customer service.
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

**You bring**:

- Associate degree or equivalent certification in Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in an IT support role, handling technical issues and providing user support.
- Experience with Baramundi, Office 365 and Azure
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Basic understanding of Network and System administration
- Basic understanding of IT security principles.
- Certification(s) such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar, is a plus.
