**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** |**About the role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Accountant** to join our finance team and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

**As** Accountant, you will**:
- Ensure recording, monitoring and reporting general and technical accounting activity according to the Group Policies;
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations;
- Be familiar with core accounting sections including: leases, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, capitalized software;
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives;
- Provides their team with meaningful, accurate and timely financial information and reports as requested;
- Help lead the build out and monthly aggregation of financial data for accounting close package
- Be direct liaison with auditors and internal accounting team to efficiently get through audits
- Take lead on building out reports within NetSuite

**QUALIFICATIONS** AND EXPERIENCE** |**About you**

**The** ideal Accountant has**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on distribution.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Desired: experience with Netsuite or similar platform.
- Professional level of English and Spanish (verbal/written).
