Within the AI Service of the Data Intelligent & Automation Value Center, our mission is to architect and deliver transformative AI solutions that empower Siemens to become a truly data-driven organization.
- In this context, the AI Solution Architect plays a critical role by designing and implementing enterprise-grade AI systems—ranging from classic machine learning to generative and agentic AI—on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS. This role bridges deep technical expertise with strategic business insight, ensuring that AI solutions are not only innovative but also secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

**Your mission will be**

Architecture & Design
- Design and implement end-to-end AI solution architectures (Classic ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI) ensuring scalability, security, compliance and cost optimization.
- Define AI Solution architectures leveraging Azure AI Services or AWS AI/ML stack, and related ecosystem tools.
- Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems and workflows using APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments.

Technical Leadership & DevOps Guidance
- Provide technical leadership and best practices to DevOps and MLOps teams for deploying and monitoring AI workloads.
- Oversee automation pipelines (CI/CD) for data and model lifecycle management.
- Guide the use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation for AI environments.

Hands-on Development & Data Science
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to prepare data, train models, and optimize performance.
- Evaluate and fine-tune pre-trained models using domain-specific data.

Consulting & Stakeholder Communication
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and IT architects to align AI initiatives with business strategy.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and demos to communicate AI solution value and feasibility.

Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and corporate standards.
- Contribute to the development of internal AI frameworks, design patterns, and reusable components.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in roles such as solution architecture, AI/ML, data science, or software architecture.

Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in the below areas:

- Classic Machine Learning & Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, Azure OpenAI Service)
- Agentic AI: Multi-agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI)
- Cloud AI/ML platform services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, OpenAI Service)
- AI Deployment: MLOps, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), SQL, and relevant scripting languages.

Beneficial Qualifications:

- Relevant Certifications: Holding one or more certifications such as:

- Agile Architecture: SAFe Architect, TOGAF Agile, or equivalent
- Cloud AI/ML: Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
