Nefab Group is on a growth journey, and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. Our Logistics and Service organization is a vital part of the Customers Supply Chain process. We are now looking for a “Logistics and Services Responsible” to join our team in Nefab Portugal.

This position is located in Portugal - Feira and you will report to Managing Director.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Overall order fulfillment process for the packaging items and services provided to our customers.
- Daily communication with the customer on our delivery and to monitor the quality of our service.
- Management and maintenance of capital assets, plant, machinery, material handling equipment, and inventory.
- Use the space and material handling equipment efficiently.
- Responsible for managing all plant costs within the company budget.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed through.
- Maintain standards for workplace health and safety, hygiene and security of the building and the work environment.
- Direct and co-ordinate material management, production operations, labor, and process improvement on a daily basis.
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring their performance and progress.
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Follow up on the established Key Performance Indicators, and report back on them on a regular basis.
- Develop and update production forecasts based on the input from sales and customer forecasts on an ongoing basis, also in line with Nefab’s planning/rolling forecast system.
- Coordinate month-end physical inventory count.
- Initiate and coordinate major projects - plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, addition of new manufacturing and converting capabilities, major repairs, etc.
- Ensure the development, implementation, certification process, and maintenance of the ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality Programs.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, logistics, Supply Chain or similar.
- 7+ years of experience in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management and/or Manufacturing related Leadership positions.
- Experience working with Lean Manufacturing strategies, Quality Management tools and methodologies.
- Experience developing and implementing a QMS as well participating in or leading ISO audits is a plus.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems, ERP, Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluent in Portuguese, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customer, and vendors.
- Ability to be able to make effective persuasive presentations.
