**Head of Compensation EMEA (f/m/d) to oversee and manage the design, implementation, and administration of employee compensation programs across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.**
**The preferred locations for this position are Portugal and Germany, alternatively in Poland or the UK.**
**Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.**
**Position Summary**
This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our organization's compensation offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives. The Head of Compensation, EMEA will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and the compensation team to optimize our compensation programs.
The role also plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's total rewards strategy and ensuring that employees in the region receive competitive and meaningful compensation packages. By effectively managing compensation programs and staying up to date with regulatory changes, they will contribute to the overall employee engagement of our workforce in EMEA.
**Your tasks and responsibilities**:
- You will contribute to development of comprehensive compensation strategy globally
- You will closely collaborate with Head of TR regions for the regional compensation strategy development
- You will provide key stakeholders with data, insights, and analysis to make appropriate compensation decisions for their businesses in line with the company policies and programs
- You will, in line with the company’s frameworks, oversee and support the team with the annual salary review process, the annual variable pay program and our equity programs
- You will support the team with benchmarking, market insights and key topics for the region e.g. high inflation
- You are the Subject matter expert on compensation topics for the region, partnering with senior leadership and finance team during budgeting process
- You will support with Senior Management projects and casework (job architecture, promotions, international moves)
- You will support HR with compensation topics, share best practice and trends, ensuring consistency of approach
- You will coach and mentor country compensation specialists for the region
- You keep yourself updated with local and regional legislation and regulations related to compensation, ensuring all programs are compliant
- You will lead digitalization activities
- You will actively participate in driving employee engagement through reward
- You will collaborate with counterparts in other regions to ensure global alignment and consistency in compensation programs and policies
- You will manage various regional and cross regional compensation projects relating to the design of compensation, recognition, and equity programs
**Your qualifications and experience**:
- You have a University Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPID) is a plus
- You have extensive experience in Compensation management, preferably in a multinational organization with exposure to EMEA region-specific compensation
- You have in-depth knowledge of EMEA compensation and market practices
- You possess solid knowledge of areas such as job analysis/evaluations and compensation setting under job-based grading systems
- You also have proven experience in developing global reward strategies and polices as well as structuring a compensation team
