**Finance and Business Controller**

32-40 hours a week

**What are you going to do with us?**

You carry out work that provides reliable, up-to-date figures and forecasts for the board, management, and team. You think in terms of possibilities and proactively make improvement proposals for our financial processes and procedures. You enjoy sparring with the financial manager and other colleagues.

The most important activities:

- You provide the monthly payroll journal, creditors-, debtors
- and bank administration of our Spanish entity;
- You check purchase invoices and allocate them to the various cost centers;
- You process, among other things, memorials & cash journals in the financial administration;
- You are responsible for preparing the monthly closing and financial reports such as the monthly P&L of the **ONE HUNDRED** stores;
- You support the finance team in Amsterdam with various analytics and other activities;
- You make improvement proposals to optimize and further automate processes.

What do we ask of you?
- You have a Master/Bachelor degree in the field of Finance & Control or Accounting;
- You have knowledge of financial and administrative processes;
- You are familiar with relevant laws and regulations in the field of finance and accounting;
- You are accurate, analytical and have an eye for detail.
- You have at least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role;
- You are skilled in Excel and know how to transform financial data into useful information for further analysis;
- Experience with Exact Globe & Exact Synergy is an advantage and you are used to working with various systems;
- You have excellent communication skills and can handle confidential information well;
- You are a real go-getter, you can switch quickly and organize your own work;
- You are development-oriented and look for improvement opportunities to further professionalize the financial administration and your work and make them more efficient;
- Your English is excellent, both spoken and in written form;
- You have a sufficient command of the Spanish language;
- Proficiency in the Dutch and French language is an advantage.
