The Legal Team is part of the Secretary General (SG) area which ensures the business follows external as well as internal rules and policies, and also internal controls, protecting therefore business activities and employees from non-compliance and legal risks.
At Natixis in Portugal, SG provides specialized services for worldwide Natixis and Groupe BPCE.
Main tasks and goals:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance and support on international business transactions, including contract review, negotiation, and drafting.
- Advise on procurement processes and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft and negotiate NDAs, LOIs, MSAs and create templates
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations related to international business and procurement, and proactively provide recommendations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various legal issues related to international business, procurement, and personal data protection.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures related to personal data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and operations, to ensure legal compliance in all business activities.
- Review and advise on privacy policies, terms and conditions, and other legal documents related to personal data protection.
- Assist in managing legal disputes and litigation related to business, procurement, and personal data protection.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry standards for international business, procurement, and personal data protection.
**Qualifications**
- Degree in Law or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a legal role.
- Strong knowledge of international business laws, procurement related regulations, and personal data protection laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Experience in litigation.
- ** Good command of English, both written and verbal.**
