Then don’t miss the chance to join our Shared Service Center in Porto as a Customs Specialist and be part of a supportive global team.

As a Customs Specialist, you will be part of the Central Customs team and you'll prepare customs clearances, manage monthly import and reporting closures, coordinate problem-solving investigations, and create data-based reports. You'll also support customs topics transfer to the Porto Shared Service Center, drive processes harmonization and automation, and participate in worldwide projects.

In your new role, you will:

- **Prepare **customs clearances for Customs departments and Customs entries auditing verification before submission to Customs authorities.
- **Responsible for **Month-closing activities such as import month closing, reporting month-closing, Intrastat;
- **Coordinate **investigation with a systematic problem-solving methodology and **moderate **discussions with stakeholders;
- **Generate, combine, and analyze **data for established reports and run an inquiry and ad-hoc reports as requested;
- **Active support **in the transference of customs topics to Porto SSC;
- **Drive process harmonization and automation **in collaboration with IFSSC teams and Central Customs teams;
- **Support **on team and corporate projects worldwide.

You have good communication skills and a structured and analytical working style. Additionally, you have proven to be a valuable team player who is capable of forging strong relationships with both your colleagues and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you are capable of tackling more complex tasks independently.

You are best equipped for this role if you have:

- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or another relevant area;
- Experience in **Logistics, Customs Area **, or **Global Trade Management **;
- **1 - 3 years of experience **in a role that requires an **affinity for data and data quality **;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel and Outlook;
- Advanced knowledge of SAP;
- **Fluency in English **- knowledge of German is an advantage.
