**About the Team hiring**
- Finance Team, Spain and Portugal_
- Our Team is responsible for the processing of financial transactions; We are the gatekeeper of the Audited Annual Financial Statements_
- We are in charge of Cash Management (A/P, A/R, etc.) in compliance with Corporate Group Policies and local regulations. We maintain a low DSO._
- We report monthly to the Group respecting the deadlines and perform analysis to explain the results vs budget._
- We are supporting the local business and work with all the functions (Sales, Order Operations, Tech, etc.). Our role is to help the Country Manager to drive the business with kpi’s definitions in order for him to make the best decisions to grow and achieve the country target._

**About the Role**

**Role purpose/Objective**

**The role of the Accountant Assistant is to assist the Controller with the smooth running of the department, inclusive of order operations Completing all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.**

**Key Responsibilities**

SALES ADMIN:

- Maintain customer accounts records
- Issuing sales invoices.
- Sending invoices to customers.
- Register collections and claiming to customers for unpaid invoices.
- Preparation of documentation for public tenders.
- Sending invoices to external accountants
- PURCHASE ADMIN:

- Maintain supplier accounts records.
- Process all purchase invoices.
- Process orders
- Prepare suppliers payments in the bank for authorization.
- Register payments in the system.
- Check credit card expenses.
- Sending invoices to external accountants
- NEW SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION:

- Assist with improvements to systems and processes where necessary
- Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

**KPIs**

Meeting reporting deadlines
- Consistency between Accounting and Invoicing System
- Days sales outstanding (DSO); recoverability of the collections.
- Implementation of new systems

min. 2 years in similar role as accountant assistant in an international environment.
- Knowledge of accounting and ERP programs.
- ERP Microsoft-Axapta Skills are beneficial.

**Required skills, abilities & qualifications**
- Administrative experience; accountant assistance experience
- Adaptability, Autonomy, Clarity in communication, collaborating effectively, Driving for results, Positive energy
- Fluent English, Portugese and Spanish speaker
- Teamplayer - keen to drive results together

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lisboa, Distrito de Lisboa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
