- BNP Paribas’ Global Markets business offers a broad range of products and services in the global interest rates, credit, currency, equities & commodity markets. Global Markets help their franchise of clients find effective ways to raise and invest capital as well as manage their exposure to risk**YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE**:

- As an Analyst in the EMEA Equity Research business, the role holder will be accountable to support more senior team members based in London on routine tasks in relation to model updates, market analysis and contributing to written research product- This role may be carried out within a range of experience depending on the development of knowledge and skills in the role and the role-holder’s ability to work with increased autonomy- Key responsibilities will include:
- Financial analysis and modelling of financial statements- Responding to client requests using relevant industry data sources- Assisting with the writing of research reports - everything from post results reports to in-depth industry reports- Idea generation for new research reports- Maintaining / improving the teams data infrastructure / products- Undertaking in-depth research into specific areas of interest- Monitoring of relevant news flows, industry developments- Deputising for the lead analyst with sales / clients / corporates when required**PROFILE AND SKILLS TO SUCCESS**:

- Master’s degree in Finance- Between 2 and 3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Credit Risk, Business Analysis- Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)- Knowlege in:
- Financial Services Industry and a broad understanding and interest in wider capital markets- Good working knowledge of a wide range of BNPP Exane policies, procedures, regulations and legislation.
- Python- Office Pack- VBA, Tableau, SQL, Bloomberg- Skills- Ability to deliver / Results driven- Adaptability- Critical Thinking- Communication skills - oral & written- Ability to collaborate / team work- Ability to develop and adapt a process- Ability to set up relevant performance indicators**ABOUT THE TEAM**:

Our team of research analysts are client-facing, produce fundamental analysis, review key industry trends, and provide stock recommendations on the companies we analyse.
