Thales Portugal is a Competence Centre of the Thales Group, whose mission is to integrate and develop solutions and products for Thales projects worldwide. Having around 220 specialized human resources Thales Portugal has a strong capability to design, develop, and deploy systems and services efficiently in the Defence, Security (Critical Information Systems, Critical Infrastructure and Banking) and Transportation markets.
- Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes. This business support services center of excellence drives innovation within our internal business processes, cutting through complexity and supporting our external leadership in digitalization.
- We are we are looking for new Talents to join our Cashiers (Treasury) team acting as a team member. This role will provide services in our Procurement to Pay: supplier invoice processing and staff expenses processing team.

- Your life as a Cashier Team Member:
- As a member of the Treasury team, you will be responsible for ensuring suppliers and staff as well as others are paid on time and correctly. You will have a regular interaction with the P2P Manager, Procurement, Finance and our suppliers across a number of countries. Among your main responsibilities, you will be:
- You will be responsible for all elements of the cash books,
- You will be responsible for executing payments and maintain the accuracy within the cash books.
- You will perform the reconciliation of cashbook and maintain cash movement records.
- Among other functions you will be in charge of: the purchase order creation; receiving and processing of invoices; invoice approval follow up; T&E Report processing and reports audit; manage all approved payment activities; reconcile supplier statements, identify any transactional issue or disagreement as early as possible; urgent payments processing; Invoice payment release; manual payments
- You will be integrated in a young and dynamic multicultural environment and contact with people from other countries on a daily basis.

- About you
- Background in Accounting processes will definitely be positively valued
- You have a good sense of relationship and strong interpersonal qualities (to be able to manage relationships with different cultures within units);
- You are able to show us good organizational skills and communication is not a problem for you;
- Prior experience of working within a team environment, in which a supportive team resolves bigger issues together and helps one another succeed;
- Good Microsoft Office & use of IT tools
- Proficient English level
- And probably the most important of all, motivation to grow and learn with us

- Graduated in Accounting, Management, Economics (or in a similar area);
- Work experience in a complex matrix organization with multiple customers;
