Thales GTS is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager, working in close coordination with our country Engineering Director, to lead various engineering teams related to Integrated Communications & Supervision Systems in Transport systems, including Customer Solutions engineering teams and Digital Products Development software teams.

You will be working in a collaborative environment with experienced hardworking individuals in a results-oriented digital culture with support from the local and international senior management team. We are seeking someone with consolidated experience in the Railway business, namely in the integrated communications and supervision area, including mobility and passenger experience technologies and in successful System and SW delivery of complex products and solutions.

You and your teams will be having direct contact with end users and clients that will enrich your experience and allow you to bring insight to the systems engineering and development teams. You will lead and deliver integrated system solutions with growing predominance of software-based digital products for demanding and complex transportation systems like busy Metros or High-speed lines.

**Responsibilities**:
The ICS Engineering Manager main responsibilities include:

- Lead of the several engineering teams implanting a strong performance culture in a collaborative and agile environment to deliver on-time, on cost and on quality our products and projects to our customers;
- Lead the Engineering Transformation aligned with the new digital culture.
- Lead and motivate key personnel by coaching and leading by example;
- Support to Tendering in Pre-bid and Post-bid phases for the development and growth of the business;
- Promotion and participation on several internal and external coordination meetings with Customers, supporting our Business Development activities promoting our Technical solutions;
- Accountable for Bids and Projects engineering execution and for Product development to delivery according the roadmap to the running projects;
- Develop a strong understanding of business impacts and support the team in decision making around what is most critical and most valuable for our customers;
- Promote Continuous improvement mindset within the several Engineering teams, while ensuring the deployment of the engineering process, practices and tools as per the business line guidelines;
- Contribute to achieve the competitiveness objectives thus maintaining a dedicated Performance plan;
- Ensure proper assessment of Workload and engineering skills present and needed in each Development Centre and Customer Solutions, deciding upon resource allocation between teams as per stakeholders’ priorities definition;
