**About the job Controller**:
Our client is an international technology group with around 10,000 employees all over the world. It unites technologically leading companies with more than 100 production, service and sales locations and offers its customers solutions, products, and services in the Business Areas of our client, Logistics Systems, Pharma Systems, Tissue and Tobacco.

**Responsabilities and Tasks of the Job****
As Controller at our client you are responsible for financial controlling tasks as well as adjacent financial topics and processes. You will engage with the team and support the functions Accounting and Purchasing. Responsibility will be given to you from the start.
- You structure and update our controlling, accounting, purchasing, and tax streams.
- You will actively contribute to establish, update and monitor company budget and forecast.
- You will create monthly internal reports with target vs. actual comparisons on operative key figures at product, project, department, and company level.
- You will participate in modernizing, improving, and automatizing financial processes, e.g. by implementing digital solutions.
- You will support and closely collaborate with Accounting & Bookkeeping, and thereby contribute to ensure the timely processing of all accounts payable/receivable.
- You will collaborate with purchasing and procurement.
- You work closely with our client group, to support tasks, budgets, cross-charging (Corporate Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Insurance, Procurement) as well as any other sister companies.
- You are responsible for aligning the intercompany reconciliation with the other Business Areas. 

**Mandatory Skills******:

- Master's degree with excellent grades in economics, or a similar course of studies with a focus on finance or controlling.
- 3+ years relevant professional experience in a controlling function, knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
- 2+ years relevant experience in a consulting environment is a plus.
- Business fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal and written).
- Very good analytical and methodological skills, results-orientation, and individual initiative.
- Experience in working as part of, and in dynamic teams and on projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting/controlling tools (e.g. DATEV, SAP, etc).
- Strong communication skills and focus on team work.
