Senior Data Analyst

**About the job**
- The Data Analyst will work on a new product (UMD) of a global project focused on the evolution of third-party data ecosystems would aim to streamline the integration of new data and technologies such as data virtualization, APIs, etc., enhancing the accessibility and real-time availability of data across systems

The Data Analyst will be in charge of the quality, steering follow-up, building indicators, define and follow remediation actions (including potential architecture change ir new external data sources to be added)

A deep knowledge of banking activities & data (Referentials) knowledge, quality, follow and build indicators

The global aim of the project ensure high data quality and consistency across various REFERENTIALS data sources and reducing discrepancies in reporting and closing figures by performing a deep analyses on the existing data and sources and transform the processes and technologies used, including the existing REFERENTIALS. The goal is to streamline workflows, improving time to market and enabling faster and more accurate insights for better decision-making

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Create business-facing dashboards and high impact data visualizations and analyses with complex data structures which will support BNP Paribas Internal or External clients achieve their objectives in terms of revenue generation, efficiency creation, production levels and risk management. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal/external clients to best understand their operational and strategic needs.
- Create descriptive, predictive and quantitative analyses addressing key business priorities and supporting the stakeholders' decision making.
- Actively manage clients.
- Support and monitor the run of these activities of data analysis, reporting and data mining.
- Coach as necessary more junior members of the team.
- Contribute to disseminate a culture of data driven solutions within BNP Paribas
- Provide visibility on performance and activities of BNP Paribas to stakeholders

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Educational background: Information Technology & computer Science / Information Systems or Business Management
- More than 4 years of Experience as Data Analyst or similar role
- Professional experience in Referential administration (data management, database ) desirable;
- Availability and customer orientation skills;
- Strong analytical mind, problem solving, planning & organization skills.
- Analytical and goal oriented;
- Excellent attention to details, Rigour & Accuracy;
- Pro-active attitude with ability to work in a fast changing and demanding environment;
- Team spirit and at ease with multi-tasking;
- Ability to report.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills (spoken and written);
- English is mandatory (B2 Level minimum);
- French is a plus;
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience with databases and data management
- Financial Data knowledge desirable
