**Job Title** Refugee Social Worker - Relocate to Ireland

(Residential Accommodation Services)

**Role** Full-Time

**Hours of Work**: 48 hours per week (Days / Nights /Weekends / On-call )

**Salary**: Euro 14.00 per hour

**Holidays**: 20 days per annum pro rata

**Reporting to**: General Care Manager of Accommodation Services

**Contract**: 1 year Fixed - Full Time

**Location**: Options of Dublin / Drogheda / Kerry

**About Us**:We are a residential social care support service dedicated to assisting young refugees in Ireland. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to young refugees, ensuring their accommodation needs are met while offering essential social work services to facilitate their integration and well-being within the community.

**Job Overview**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Housekeeping support within the accommodation, including supporting residents with cleaning rooms, preparing meals, cooking, and laundry.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop individualized support plans for each young person, focusing on their unique strengths and challenges.
- Assist young people in securing suitable accommodation, liaising with landlords, housing authorities, and other relevant organizations as needed.
- Provide ongoing support to young people, offering advocacy, / referrals to additional services as necessary.
- Monitor the progress of young people and adjust support plans as needed to ensure their evolving needs are met effectively.
- Work closely with local community organizations, government agencies, and other service providers to coordinate comprehensive support for young people.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance service delivery and promote best practices in refugee support.
- Observation in fire safety and emergency.
- Provide medical support & first aid when required.

Qualifications:

- BA Degree or MA Qualification in Education / Social Care / Social Work / Teaching or Nursing
- Possess high motivation to serve people with care and attention to the details.
- Previous experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or other vulnerable populations or relevant experience in a care setting, customer service or hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clients.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and services related to refugee support in Ireland.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages, particularly those spoken by refugee communities, is advantageous.
