As a member of the Enterprise Applications Leadership Team, you will be the person that people seek when they need a point of view or direction regarding the strategic, end-to-end view of the technology landscape. You will work at the intersection of business and technology to define end-to-end strategies that combine business objectives with IT technology opportunities. Your best ideas will help to increase flexibility, reduce costs and optimise technology environments.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

We are looking for a highly experienced individual who has led the development of IT strategy and architecture to drive large-scale digital transformation. You have a track record of aligning the organisation around common goals to facilitate technology transformation. You are a strong team player with a passion for coaching and supporting colleagues to realise their potential and objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving technology alignment across the organisation towards the overall strategy, enterprise architecture and core principles. As part of this responsibility, we need you to:

- Co-create the enterprise-wide target state architecture that will drive us towards an integrated but simplified end-to-end technology landscape;
- Build, govern and report as the central coordinator of our architecture community which is distributed across multiple Business Groups and Functions;
- Communicate the Nokia architecture plan across the company and where relevant with external partners to promote visibility, understanding and re-use of preferred technologies;
- Maintain deep knowledge of evolving trends and the latest advancements in technology to find ways to improve our operations;
- Coach, mentor and collaborate with stakeholders, peers, domain and solution architects, development teams and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.

The job includes:

- Identifying strategic issues and opportunities for improvement;
- Engaging with technology professionals across IT, Business Groups, Security and Business Partner Functions to agree on and drive towards Nokia’s preferred solutions in key capabilities;

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- Broad technical acumen with full technology stack literacy, an up-to-date working knowledge of Salesforce and SAP as two of our primary corporate solutions, and at least two architecture disciplines (e.g. Enterprise, Solution, Business, Infrastructure, Data, Security Architectures);
- Excellent analytical thinking with an ability to address complex problems and find innovative/disruptive solutions in technology focussed environment;
- Practical experience of managing architecture governance in a company moving towards digital product orientation and agile ways of working;
- Good understanding of the trade-offs, risks and cost drivers in systems delivery and operations and an appreciation of the business consequences of technical decisions;

It would be nice if you also had:

- Passion for bringing objectivity to choosing technology solutions;
- Bias for pragmatism in the short term while aligning with long-term strategic outcomes;
- Outstanding collaboration as a team player, with the ability to work autonomously;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- An interest in continuously learning about business outcomes and technology excellence;
- Ability to allow, encourage and steer constructive challenge which improves the outcome or deliverable under review.
