**Your responsibilities will be**:

- Classifying defined items (hardware, software technology) according to EU and US law for Export and Re-export incl. Embargo and Sanctions List
- Maintaining export control classification numbers (AL, ECCN) in the relevant tools PAR
- Identifying, analysing, and monitoring of export control relevant risks
- Supporting the implementation of national export control internal guidelines in alignment with the export control business partner
- Role monitoring in export control relevant tools
- Supporting the implementation of mandatory changes in the IT systems
- Providing business support, e.g., export transactions, DAMEX user questions
- Participating in external and internal audits, as well as maintaining MONA for the relevant businesses
- Communicating with the export control business partner or regional export control officer and as needed, further escalation of critical cases.
- Distributing export control information within the assigned businesses
- Support in License Administration Controlling System (Export Licence Management), which are submitted to the relevant authorities

**We are looking for**:

- You have a Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, business informatics, electrical engineering, automation technology or completed technical training (apprenticeship or comparable, further qualification, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science)
- Knowledge in Power Plants and Digital Twin, Material science and Cybersecurity
- Several years of professional experience in the field of software development, computer science, electrical engineering, and automation
- Knowledge in export classification according to EU and US (re-) export control law, software and de minimis calculation or professional experience as a classifier
- You can grasp complex problems, develop productive solutions, and communicate adequately in a team
- Willingness to learn
- You like to familiarize yourself with new tools and systems and ideally already have some experience with SAP
