**About the Role**

As Senior Infrastructure Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Service Operations team, focusing on developing, operating, and maintaining various technologies, with a primary focus on **VMware**, **Windows Server**and **Azure Cloud Technologies**.

Your will support our hybrid infrastructure and growing IT landscape, providing expertise on **VMware, Windows Server**, **ADC (Netscaler)**, **and Azure Cloud**, while collaborating with Solution Owners, Application Developers, and IT colleagues to ensure that we continuously improve and meet customer needs.

You will join a global cross-functional team that supports both internal and external projects and teams with modern infrastructure expertise. Your engagement will be at the core of Service Operations in a highly people-focused work environment. You will be part of an international team and work with colleagues and customers worldwide.

**What You Will Do**:
As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for VMware, Windows Server, ADC (Netscaler) and Azure Cloud, you will:

- Drive optimization, automation, and continuous improvement activities to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with various infrastructure departments to provide hands-on support and ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in infrastructure architecture forums, projects, and 3rd-line support activities, solving complex technical challenges.
- Design and implement solutions that meet both business and technical requirements following Essity standards and processes.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using PowerShell scripting and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.
- Maintain a customer-first approach, fostering collaboration, and delivering excellence in all tasks.

**Required skills and experience**
- Higher education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience with **DNS**, **DHCP,**and **PKI management**and **IT Infrastructure.**
- Deep expertise in **VMware, Windows Server,**and **Azure platform**.
- Expertise in ADC (NetScaler) platform.
- Expertise in IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS technologies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of security best practices and implementation of security controls.
- Experience with Change Management and Incident Management processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Strong documentation capabilities.
- Proven experience in enterprise environments globally.

**Nice to have skills**
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, ADFS, and ITIL.
- Knowledge of container technologies, virtualization platforms, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, Packer, or others.
- Experience managing global projects.
