Backend Engineering Manager

At Mindera, we craft software with people we love. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager / Technical Lead to join our team and lead our talented engineers. As an Engineering Manager at Mindera, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions for our clients.

You will play a key role in driving the growth and development of our team members, providing mentorship and guidance to help them reach their full potential. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project goals, requirements, and timelines.

As an Engineering Manager at Mindera, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices, driving excellence and efficiency across the team. The role will lead a team of engineers including test engineers. The role is expected to be technically competent in supporting the team.

**Requirements**:
**Key Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager or similar leadership role within the software development industry.
- Strong technical background, with expertise in software engineering and development methodologies.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong Java knowledge
- Strong knowledge of working distributed systems using technology like graphQL
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Ideally Azure)
- Working with Salesforce knowledge would be a bonus.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about technology and continuous learning.
