Advanced Crew Planner

Produce crew forward planning, strategies and solutions that fulfil all regulatory, company and union requirements whilst delivering the optimal crew capacity needs. Supervise the Roster Production and Delivery teams to promote a ‘one team’ approach that delivers an exceptional seamless experience for customers and crew members.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain long term Manpower Planning projections, including “what if” scenario capability, taking account the key drivers of:

- Headcount, including recruitment, fleet changes and churn
- Duty days, training days, vacation days, absence, and other non-flying activity
- Review historic data to capture trends and to be used as a component of forward planning projections.
- Calculate and review required crew levels in conjunction with fleet plan, aircraft availability, forecast flight demand, and capacity planning
- Calculate and review optimal dispersion of crew member base months for all training qualifications
- Calculate required volume and optimal dispersion of training events, instructor requirements, other crew qualifications and operational requirements, on an annual and periodic basis.
- Liaise with external and internal training providers, including other NetJets businesses, to ensure sufficient volume and optimal dispersion of training resources.
- Liaise with Capacity Manager to calculate, load and review crew fleet targets into IT systems
- Calculate, load, review, and update crew vacation quotas
- Track crew vacation usage and take proactive steps to ensure that all vacation days are taken within the vacation year
- Liaise with internal teams to optimise the following according to business needs:

- Fleeting roadmap, upgrades, and recruitment
- Continuously review and optimise forward planning calculations in accordance with changes to key business drivers
- Develop, publish, and maintain processes, handbooks, and departmental documentation
- Calculate and provide duty day and vacation calculations for all non-standard and flexible work requests.
- Supervise the Roster Production and Delivery teams
- Support the Crew Planning Manager to deliver the strategic department and team goals.

- Bachelor's in Aviation

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)**:

- Degree in Aviation or Transport Logistic, preferred;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in civil aviation or armed services environment;
- Previous experience supervising a team;
- Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
