POSITION SCOPE
The primary purpose of the Payroll Technician is to ensure correct processing of the European locations employees’ Payroll and retirees, as well as
all related activities, under the supervision of the European Payroll Coordinator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all payroll administration, payroll data entry and input into SAP
- Retrieve monthly payroll data, process it into Payroll System, reconciling and identifying corrections if required
- Process employee benefits and associated expenses: Medical Assistance, Transportation and other benefits
- Support employees with the payroll Operating System - TES (Time Entry System) or other
- Support payroll audits and provide necessary information to Auditors
- Maintaining payroll procedures in line with legal or contractual changes
- Prepare necessary statutory documents and reports as required for compliance with legal requirements
- Respond to employee payroll queries
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports required by the business e.g. cost, accrual and actual worked hours reports
- Update payroll procedures/configuration as required to reflect changes in contractual terms or statutory rules

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
- The ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- A good level of numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Good knowledge of Portuguese Labor Law
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Methodical approach with good problem solving skills

ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES
- Experience in multi countries payroll will be an advantage (especially, UK Payroll)
- ERP/Primavera experience / SAP experience

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Technical course in related fields (preferable)
- Fluent in English
