Product and Contracting Manager

**The Role**

This as exciting opportunity for an experienced contracting / product manager to oversee the Your Golf Travel Portugal product portfolio. Based in or near the Algarve the product and contracting manager’s role is to ensure that they obtain the best possible value out of their account portfolio in the EU and any additional areas given, fulfilling our Product Strategy, and ensuring that it is delivered as efficiently as possible.

The role is an important position, working with the Senior Contracting manager for the EU and the rest of the team to deliver on budget and in line with the long term growth of the business. The job holder will negotiate rates, promotions, terms of business, allocations and product income with new and existing Golf venues, Resorts & Hotels.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Follow our purpose driven approach to deliver the contracting management strategy for our overseas destinations.
- Create focus and simplification across our product set so that we prioritise the most profitable products.
- Ensure that we deliver the contracts and flash sales to support the product strategy.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of supplier relationships. Focusing mainly on Premium, Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts.
- Work with the team to create a high class, successful and fully engaged contracting outfit.
- Ensure that we deliver market leading promotions.
- Support the Senior contracting manager to drive transparency and measurability in the team, uphold performance standards and report objectively.
- Be accountable for pre defined product income streams (eg. Supplier Marketing contributions, overrides / opaques)
- Work closely with other stakeholders including the Customer service and Marketing teams to deliver efficient operations to align on the execution of the product strategy.
- Support a continuous improvement culture, where the customer and customer retention is paramount.
- Travel to new and existing venues, within your given territory in the EU and other destinations given to assist with any account management issues.
- To support overseas operations for YGT/PG and customer support if required.
- To support PG operations and contracting if required.
- Deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Strong experience in a product / contracting role within travel
- Experience in golf is desirable but not essential
- Great negotiation skills
- Highly commercial
- Highly organised with a strong grasp of google/microsoft platforms such as excel.
- Excellent team working skills
