Our Portugal Platform (Lisbon and Porto) is a major HUB in Europe and certainly unique in the country by its size and its scope of activity, with all Front Office roles present (Trading, Sales, Research, Structuring, Quant & Engineering, Business Dev and Support, Marketing & Client Support, Risk Management, Data Analytics and Machine Learning, among others) We are growing fast with the ambition to become even more relevant for the worldwide activity **Your Main Activities Are** - Weekly Trading Executive Committee documents- Lead the production of Weekly Trading Executive Committee documents for Global Equities & Credit Global Business Lines (GBLs)- Ensure a correct representation of the business line main risks and weekly Profit & Losses, both in the GBL forum, and in a synthetized manner in the Global Market Forum- To ensure report quality, seek and take into account feedback from the relevant stakeholders (heads of trading desks and traders) throughout the process (30%)- Daily reports- Lead the production and distribution of daily reports covering the main risks and stress tests across all the desks of Global Equities & Global Credit GBLs- To ensure report quality, seek and take into account feedback from the relevant stakeholders (heads of trading desks and traders) throughout the process (30%)- Maintain the tools designed for the purpose described above. Improve or revamp those tools as much as necessary to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of the reports (25%) - Under the guidance of Global Equities TRS team, enrich the set of indicators followed through these reports. When needed, design ad-hoc tools to allow tactical monitoring of specific risk / return indicators, and assist in the production of deep dive studies regarding specific portfolios or strategies (15%) **Profile and Skills to Success** - Bachelor or Master in Finance, economics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar fields - Strong knowledge of programming languages - Python and VBA - Ability to process large amount of data and make extractions from various systems - Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory) - Be organized and methodical in data production - Be able to provide clear and concise analysis - Demonstrate a genuine interest in financial markets activities and show motivation to learn new regulations and market practices/products **About the Team** - The overall job purpose it to assist the Global Equities Trading Risk Strategy (TRS) team and the Global Credit TRS team in their mandate to steer the risk and returns of Global Equities and Global Credit trading positions - This is achieved first by overseeing the production of daily reports of main positions and stress-tests of trading desks, and weekly production of an extended review of those trading desks positions and P&L; and second by participating upon request to ad-hoc studies or deep-dive of the risks and expected returns related to specific portfolios LI-Hybrid **Why joining BNP Paribas?** - **Leading banking institution** BNP Paribas is a leader in the Eurozone, and a prominent international banking institution with strong roots in Europe's banking history.
