**About the job**

As a 2nd line of defence, RISK ORC CIB aims to provide RISK and CIB Management with a front to back consolidated view on operational risks of CIB activities in order to contribute to the reduction of operational risk and to better respond to Regulator’s expectations.

RISK ORC CIB mandate is to challenge and supervise the Operational Risk management of CIB activities, for operational risk processes and themes assigned to RISK. To that end, RISK ORC CIB relies on an effective operational risk management setup covering CIB activities: Global Banking, Global Markets, BP2S and functions covering CIB activities (independent control functions1 and transversal functions), Anti-Fraud, ICT, Third Party Risk management, and Data Protection.

RISK ORC CIB is organized in 3 Business Lines, 2 Regions and 6 Transversal teams.
- Regions: Americas, APAC
- Business Lines: BP2S, Global Markets and Global Banking
- Transversal teams: Transformation team (since October 2018), Functions, Transversal Risk Management including Fraud and Norms & Synthesis, Information and Technology (ICT), Third-Party (TPRM), Data Privacy and Protection (DPP).

**Mandate**

RISK ORC CIB Servicing platform is in charge of Independent Control Testing, Personal data related risk and Reporting for CIB activities covering Corporate Banking, Global Markets and transversal activities.

**Your Main Activities Are**

The main mission of the team is to contribute to the independent control testing plan, by giving support to the the RISK ORC CIB teams for providing RISK and Senior Management a synthetic, transparent, exhaustive and consistent Front to Back view of Operational Risk across activities.
- The Operational Risk Officer for Data Protection will play a key role in operational risk management by independently challenging the effectiveness of the operational control framework of the BNP Paribas data protection activities
- Team member will contribute to the structuring and consequent comprehensive execution of the control plans to be defined.
- As part of this independent testing, the team member will:

- Set up the structure of the 2LOD of controls worldwide, in strong coordination with 1LOD teams and on-shore requirements
- Verify the 1Lod controls, re-perform 1LoD controls and complete direct 2LoD controls, which will require the following tasks: data collection, performance of controls, detection of anomalies, consolidation of the test results.
- Communicate, alert and escalate any attention point to the RISK ORC CIB teams, is also embedded in the mission.
- Objective is to provide synthetic, comprehensive and actionable testing results and submit them to RISK ORC CIB teams.
- Moreover, team member will provide reporting for data protection control testing by collecting data, analysing data and events, and producing Operational RISK report.

The work will be performed in direct strong coordination with the RISK ORC CIB Corporate Banking, Global Markets and transversal teams and also with CIB first Line of Defence teams.

**Profile and Skills to Success**

**Business skills**
- Knowledge of the CIB businesses, products and processes
- Interest and/or experience in Data Protection
- General awareness on Risk Management
- Experience in a Business Line, Audit or RISK appreciated
- Language : fluent English, French appreciated
