**Job Overview**

We are a fast growing B-Corp startup who strongly believes every single kencko-er we hire is a key part of our shared success. We are now seeking a full-time Senior Packing Machinery Technician to support the fast growth of our Company.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain, repair and replace broken or malfunctioning machine components and equipment, including: Vertical Form Fill & Seal (VFFS), Multihead Scales;
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions;
- Analyze test results, machine error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems;
- Disassemble machinery and equipment to inspect, test, remove parts or make repairs; then reassemble the equipment after completion of procedures or repairs;
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM’s), such as cleaning, lubricating and adjusting parts, equipment and machinery;
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear;
- Assist Packaging Machine Operators during scheduled preventative maintenance;
- Record repairs and maintenance performed;
- Record parts and materials used;
- Demonstrate equipment functions and features, and train machine operators in the technical skills required to perform their jobs. Work with operators on a daily basis to reduce downtime and increase plant efficiency;
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices and safety procedures;
- Communicate with the Head of Production and other team members to attend to operational issues that affect productivity and efficiency
**Experience You Bring**
- Experience operating and maintaining packaging equipment, and in an electrical technician role, or a combination thereof — plus a minimum of 1 year’s experience operating VFFS packaging equipment;
- Functional proficiency in MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Thorough understanding of VFFS packaging machines, weighing equipment (Ishida Scales), metal detectors, conveyors, printers and labelers;
- Minimum of B2 English and Portuguese preferred
- Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work PM, weekend and overtime as required;
- Ability to work from our Marvila facilities on a regular basis;
