**Business development representative, Portugal and Brazil remote**

We’re looking for a person who you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met.
**About the team**:
- We are a US-based SAAS firm targeting the accounting industry. In other words, we use technology to solve business problems for accounting firms - we are not accountants. For you, this means you will be communicating with accountants about their business processes and helping them see the value in our software which can help them grow their business and revenue. You are not expected to be an accountant, know how to do accounting or even be good at math.
- Our team is 200+ people (in over 40 countries) - we are a distributed team built on the principle of self-management
- Access to management - you will be working closely with the Country Manager for Portugal and Brazil along with other regional representatives in EU in a collaborative work environment

**The role**:
- Providing New Leads
- Qualifying Potential Leads
- Establish new distribution channels by building strong commercial partnerships
- Lead any commercial negotiations, pitches, or dispute resolution processes
- Reporting to the management of the Company and performing the tasks requested by the Company
**Qualifications**:
- 1+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
- Must be fluent in English, Portuguese BR/PT
- A good knowledge base of the country/region, and a willingness to learn
- Deep knowledge in sales & marketing strategies
- The ability to provide excellent customer service
- Good time-management skills
- Sensitivity to different cultural norms
- Willing to accept new challenges
- Excellent internet connection
- Equipment (PC or laptop, web camera, etc.)
- Commitment to goals and objectives
**Desirable**:
- Bachelor degree or experience in accounting
- Experience with project management software or other productivity tools
- Experience with Slack, HelpScout, Customer.io and Pipedrive
- Some exposure to development and marketing processes
**Work format**: full-time
**Compensation**: 30k USD per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive bonus structure that provides a unique opportunity to significantly increase your earnings based on your sales achievements.
