**About the job**:
You are responsible for:

- In your day-to-day role, you will be expected to complete the appropriate tasks for your ledger in a timely and accurate manner.
- Recording of all relevant transactions into the General Ledger and the reconciliation of your assigned accounts on a monthly basis
- Delivery of transactional processing and accounting i.e. other manual bookings, cost accounting, etc.
- Perform month end activities i.e. account rec prep, balance sheet maintenance (accruals, provisions, prepayments, fixed assets, etc.)
- With a strong analytical approach, you will support the business by proposing and implementing improvements to our control environments including internal compliance and JSOX requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Fully qualified accountant
- Solid working experience in IFRS/HGB
- 5+ years in complex accounting role
- Fluent English, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service, organizational, communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Solid self-management, innovative and constantly looking for opportunities to improve
- Strong skills in Microsoft® Office (Excel, etc.)
- Experience with ERPs (i.e. D365, Oracle) would be an advantage
