Key accountabilities:
There will be a number of initiatives that the Procurement trainee will support. This list is not exhaustive and is designed to give examples of the type of work that should be expected:

- Support the local procurement representative in BAU tasks
- Responding to AP/Proc related queries
- Ensuring purchase orders are sent as required
- Providing training (P2P process) to local teams
- Support selection and onboarding process for Contactors and Pro Services in Portugal
- Work with Rui and VMO to update the local PSL
- Provide support to local and remote managers for sourcing and onboarding of professional services
- Providing analysis of vendor performance
- Support procurement team in critical projects e.g.
- System related improvements/efficiencies
- Automating processes
- Identifying areas of spend that procurement are not currently involved with but could make a significant impact on.
