The Opportunity - Functional Analyst
We are currently seeking a Functional Analyst to support the development and implementation of the NEXUS Open Data Platform for a public sector project. This role will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring that deliverables align with the project's strategic objectives.
Desired Profile:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Functional Analyst.
Strong ability to create clear and detailed documentation that supports technical implementation and serves as a reference for different teams.
Capability to manage the lifecycle of requirements, from initial identification to final delivery, ensuring that all changes are effectively controlled.
Experience working with backlog management tools such as GitLab, prioritizing development tasks in collaboration with the Product Owner.
Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
Experience in business process analysis and optimization, with the ability to create flow diagrams and identify data flow improvements.
Experience in understanding and defining relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) database models to ensure effective data management.
Valued Experience:
Familiarity with GitLab for requirement management.
Big Data & Data Analytics: Experience or basic understanding of large-scale data analysis and integration with Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Understanding of open data formats (CSV, JSON, XML) and data licensing practices (e.g., Creative Commons).
Basic knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and data anonymization techniques to ensure compliance.
