Global Payroll Manager

**Where your expertise is needed**:
Using a hands-on approach, independent decision making, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, this individual will oversee the accurate and timely execution of various countries' payroll processing using various systems, now for approximately 5,100 employees including contractors, with a focus on key internal controls, company standards, and local tax compliance. It is critical for the Payroll Manager to have extensive knowledge of the payroll function to include, but not limited to, payroll computations, multi-country payroll taxation, quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting and reconciliation, payroll accounting, internal controls, and local laws. The Global Payroll Manager will work closely with the Head of People Services on the successful execution of departmental efforts, objectives, and strategic goals.

It is critical for the Payroll Manager to have extensive knowledge of the payroll function to include, but not limited to, payroll computations, multi-country payroll taxation, quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting and reconciliation, payroll accounting, internal controls, and local laws. The Global Payroll Manager will work closely with the Head of People Services on the successful execution of departmental efforts, objectives, and strategic goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the payroll team and oversee day-to-day activities to deliver efficient processes and controls resulting in accurate and timely bi-weekly and monthly processing.
- Review payroll data for accuracy, process payroll adjustments and resolve discrepancies accordingly.
- Monitor and actively communicate legislative changes that may impact payroll processes and internal policies to the Relevant Local Payroll Teams
- Prepare periodic metric reports respective to department efficiency, accuracy, and volume.
- Working with stakeholders on payroll data results in managing end-to-end People processes at different levels in a matrix structure and ensuring risk and compliance for the business.
- Manage third party payroll provider and lead bi-weekly status calls related to outstanding issues, on-going support, and software enhancements/ improvements.
- Supervise, train, coach and evaluate Payroll staff

**Job Qualifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of payroll experience in multiple countries.
- Strong Strategic thinker with the ability to take direction and execute tasks independently, efficiently and with limited oversight.
- Must be process driven and detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong Collaborator with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Strong ability to work under pressure, demonstrating high commitment to payroll management
- Excellent Respect for confidentiality.
- Strong Excel skills (PIVOT tables and VLOOKUPs).
