Accounts Payable Supervisor

**About the job** - The Supervisor will manage an operations team in Lisbon, with potential to extend scope of responsibilities- Ensure correct booking of invoices (General Ledger Account, VAT rate, Cost Centre)- Perform controls in line with corporate procedures and control plan- Provide training to new joiners**Your Main Activities Are** - Follow-up the team’s planning and workload plan - Manage and assist the team members on their day-to-day activity - Ensure correct booking of invoices (General Ledger Account, VAT rate, Cost Centre, Purchase Order) - Assist the Management on the preparation of reporting documents - Participate in meetings with the management and / or costumers when needed - Participate on any Projects that may arise **Profile and Skills to Success** - University degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Business Management or other related field - Significant professional experience in a similar role with team management - Strong SAP user experience as accounts payable with advanced knowledge of I2P/P2P and accounts receivable - Knowledge of VAT - Fluent in English (minimum B2 Level, CECRL certificate), good level in French is a plus - Ability to work under tight deadlines with flexible schedules and with international locations - Organizational skills and good attention to detail - Ability to synthetize and to give feedbacks to peers - Strong team spirit - Good communication skills (spoken & written), proactive attitude and problem solving LI-Hybrid **Why joining BNP Paribas?** - **Leading banking institution** BNP Paribas is a leader in the Eurozone, and a prominent international banking institution with strong roots in Europe's banking history.
