**Would you like to grow your talent and career in one of the most creative and innovative companies in the renewal energy sector globally?** **Manufacturing and Global Procurement > Global Procurement > HUB** Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management. This position is related to the Hub Category where we are looking for a new colleague for our team in Portugal. In the Hub procurement team, we are commercially responsible for Vestas global network of external suppliers of the various Hub components, including blade bearings and hydraulic components. **Responsibilities** You will join a high-profiled position with a very high level of strategic exposure within Vestas. Your everyday activities will be characterized by a very high pace and requirement to engage in-, coordinate and prioritize between multiple different critical projects. Overall expected deliverables include: - Support the strategic and tactical activities within the Blade Bearing commodity, including acting as supplier account manager for some of Vestas critical component suppliers - Further develop the global commodity strategy for the area, in collaboration with colleagues across the globe - Support the "new production introduction" process across the hub team for new turbine platforms, as such acting as the frontline for Vestas product to market strategy execution - Build a close relationship with the strategic partnership suppliers in the category and continue delivering value through long term supplier account management - Actively engage in the global Procurement team, working for growth with your colleagues across the globe - Building a significant network within Vestas, including close engagement in the Hub category team with colleagues from Technology, Production, Service and Quality **Qualifications** - Experience with strategic procurement or a degree in either business or engineering - Proven record of high stakeholder management skills incl. experience with communication on executive level - Advanced communication skills including fluent English skills - Advanced skills within PPT and Excel required **Competencies** - An open approach to encourage stakeholder inputs and a structured and fact-based approach to secure ideas are prioritized and implemented - Commitment and persistent to secure the correct implementation of the initiatives you represent - Holistic and positive mindset: you are able to see the big picture from Vestas product offerings towards customers and the ability to connect these to supplier offerings and how they can positively impact Vestas sales and cost out programs - Good research, structured and fact-based approach - Strong influencer with the ability to bring people together **What we offer** We offer you an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development within the largest company in the renewable energy industry.
