The Regional Procurement Office (RPO) Mediterranean is responsible for all Procurement activities related to Southern Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa. The RPO consists of three sub departments Strategic Purchasing, Procurement Skills and Supplier Quality&Development. The Strategic Purchasing department is structured in focused teams procuring goods and services for our Turbines and our Construction
- and Service Business. Furthermore, we have established market specific teams to accommodate special market requirements.

As the Purchaser of Inland Transport, you will be implementing the complete Procurement Process ( from market scouting to contract signature), market mapping, localization opportunities, cost out initiatives and other initiatives to improve our company position in the market.

**Responsibilities**
- Define and implement, together with the global and regional team, the Inland Transport Strategy for the countries under your responsibility ( Special focus in South Africa and MENA) for the turbine components (Out of gauge cargo)
- Manage RFQ's for Inland Transport Activities (stakeholder management, supplier selection, contract preparation and negotiation)
- Ensure sustainable vendor portfolio with the appropriated commercial and technical capabilities and local content requirements if anny.
- Lead Supplier Relationship and performance management.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand our customers' requirements seeking for potential to improve our value proposition

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree and min. 3 years experience in Transport Procurement.
- Fluent in English
- previous experience with procurement work space, ideally supervising functional teams
- Transport market knowledge
- Interest for regulatory details (Local Content policies and contractual negotiations)
