CASH INVESTIGATIONS OFFICER (JOB NUMBER: 2203SSOP10321)

**About the job**
- Responsible for investigating first and second level claims regarding cash flows across several locations. The team deals with internal clients, counterparts and cash correspondents, being also responsible for dealing with several departments and interacting with different BP2S activities

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Client Oriented: focus on providing solutions and operational/market assistance. To become a market specialist in order to provide accurate and useful operational insight to internal clients and BP2S teams
- Banking reconciliation
- Communicating with correspondents and counterparts
- Ensure that the investigation of any claim related to cash flows, either from clients or from counterparts, is solved within the desirable period while assuring a quality support during the process
- Follow the activity closely, i.e. monitoring volumes evolution, workloads, recurring issues and present solutions as well as ideas for improvement
- Supporting management in all operational activity and on the transversal projects when required
- Actively participate in all projects developed within the Department and BP2S Lisbon
- Monitor, report and be able to mitigate the operational risk for all cases that the team is involved
- Provide suggestions to improve processes and procedures
- Control and monitoring
- Daily nostro cash reconciliation
- Swifts and client queries: Investigation files
- Fortnightly Bank Risk Report
- End of Day Controls
- Monthly JUST control
- Participate in new projects and contribute to the development of client’s relationship
- To analyse repeated queries from clients or counterparties and improve STP rate

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Economics as preferred options)
- At least 3 years on experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Tools
- Proficiency in transaction processing and data capture
- Fluent English level (oral and written) - B1/B2
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Financial Markets knowledge is desirable
- Organization and Strategy skills
- Ability to collaborate / Teamwork
- Creativity & Innovation / Problem solving
- Client focused
