RAY.BBDM is currently managing a search process for **SBM Offshore**, a large multinational company, that is looking for a **Corporate IFRS Expert Manager **to join their **Porto** office. Reporting to the Forecast to Report Director, the Corporate IFRS Expert Manager will be a reference for the group’s Finance department regarding the IFRS norms, while liaising with many different stakeholders and having a global scope.

**You make it happen**:

- You are a key contributor for the Group accounting processes and policies: you will work closely with various stakeholders (including the Head of Close & Accounting) to adapt the accounting policies and processes, while ensuring that the accounting rules are well documented and are applied consistently across SBM worldwide;
- You are a reference in IFRS expertise at Group level: you are always up to date with the latest changes in IFRS standards, coordinate these changes within SBM worldwide and participate in IFRS training across the group;
- You are a key contributor for the accounting analysis of complex transactions: you will prepare position papers in various areas, using IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 11, IAS 28 and IFRS 9;
- You are a key contributor to the Annual Report & for the preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements: you will be responsible for coordinating and obtaining information from different departments (e.g., Treasury and Tax) as well as preparing certain sections of Financial Statements;
- You liaise with external stakeholders: you are the key interlocutor for external auditors and other providers;
- You work together with the Close & Accounting community across the group: you will contribute to leading the accounting community and provide technical assistance to finance teams globally.

**SBM Offshore is looking for**:

- Academic background in Accounting or similar areas;
- 8+ years of professional experience in an auditing firm and/or in a similar corporate accounting position;
- Advanced IFRS knowledge;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal);
- Availability to move to Porto.
