The Global Planning Excellence (GPEX) team is responsible and accountable for providing the best fit solutions towards the Pharma Supply Chain planning teams from a people, process, systems and data perspective, enabling the Pharma Supply Chain planners to focus on their day-to-day operational planning activities (without being disrupted by e.g. system flaws).

This GPEX team plays a central role in advancing the digital planning transformation, enabling growth, improving Customer Experience, and driving E2E Supply Chain efficiencies.

In the department of Global Planning Excellence (GPEX) we currently have an internship position for Global Inventory Analyst (M/F):

**Job description**

You will be assigned to the Global Inventory Management team within the GPEX organisation, where you will be part of a motivated, global team that is focused on process improvements and standardization whilst keeping the base business running. You will get to experience the daily challenges we face in Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain and identify and deploy improvements.

**Your contribution**

**Responsibilities and duties**

Mentored by an industry expert, you will

  • work closely with Planning teams and other global functions (Finance, Make, Procurement, Deliver) for the daily business challenges
  • identify process improvements through conducting stakeholder feedback
  • support in initiating the required system improvements through the existing OnePCM intake process
  • connect closely with Business Product Owners, Supply Chain IT, Training and Data teams to get the required system and process improvement implemented
  • update training material

**Project examples**:perform data analytics to identify and implement SLOB (SLow moving or OBsolete) process improvement actions, support inventory projections, develop roadmaps, develop user guidelines

**Qualifications**

  • You have a strong interest in Supply Chain Management
  • Preferred fields of study are (Business) Engineering, Automation or Science. However, the internship is open to any motivated student
  • You are passionate about advancing the health and well-being of people around the world
  • You are not afraid to ask questions or having to work independently (possible remote)
  • To maximize your learning curve, we expect physical presence on site 1-2 days per week
  • You look forward getting pulled out of your comfort zone
  • Thanks to your analytical skills you manage to understand complex issues and related business needs
  • You are fluent in English
