We are seeking an experienced **IT Project Manager**to join our growing software engineering team in the TPS (Train Planning Systems) department.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead, plan, and manage a TPS project in our product driven software development organization while working closely with the product management and development teams as well as with local Siemens entities in a complex matrix organization in an international environment.
- Take on the technical leadership of your project team.
- Develop project plans and status reports, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task distribution.
- Gather and evaluate customer requirements, translating them into effective software solutions.
- Collaborate with project members to define and coordinate technical requirements.
- Monitor project progress, maintaining a smooth flow of information and ensuring on-time deliveries to teams, customers, and partners.
- Present project results to project sponsors with clarity and confidence.
- Plan and manage the project-related costs and budget, keeping financial goals on track.
**We're looking for someone who has**:
- A technical background and experience in managing complex IT projects ideally in an international environment
- At least 5 years of experience in managing of complex IT projects with product driven software development, ideally in the transportation sector.
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach which enables you to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, complemented by experience in customer projects.
- Strong communication skills make you a reliable point of contact for customers, partners, development teams, and company management.
- Full professional proficiency (equal to C1) in English completes your profile.
