Pricing Analyst

As a Pricing Analyst, your primary responsibility involves supporting the development and implementation of data-driven pricing analytics. This entails utilizing empirical and statistical methods to drive informed pricing decisions as well as processing large data sets across different data domains. Additionally, you are tasked with creating, sustaining, and enhancing standardized reporting and analytics solutions enabling data-driven recommendations for price optimization, as well as providing support for pricing projects. Lastly, you prepare materials to ensure stakeholders are well-equipped to use new and existing pricing analytics solutions.

In your new role, you will:

- Support the development and implementation of **data-driven pricing analytics and models**enhancing Infineon’s pricing capabilities to **foster value orientation as well as reaction to market trends based on empirical and statistical methods**:

- Be responsible for the systematic preparation and processing of **large data sets within the pricing environment**across product areas, sales channels, and business types to **enable informed**pricing decisions**:

- **Create standardized reporting, simulation, and analytic solutions**to provide meaningful pricing insights
- **Maintain and continuously enhance**existing pricing analytics solutions
- **Support pricing projects**by preparing relevant data-driven insights, actively participate in workshop discussions in your specific area of expertise, and drive the alignment of different stakeholder requirements for pricing analytics
- **Derive data-based recommendations of actionable measures**with the target of optimizing pricing under specific market conditions as well as increasing efficiency within the pricing community and across corporate functions
- **Prepare material to explain and document pricing analytics solutions for our target audience and support training facilitation**to ensure that relevant stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to make use of pricing analytics solutions

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A **relevant completed study**e.g., economics, industrial/ electrical engineering, computer engineering/ science, mathematics/ statistics/ data analytics/data science
- **At least 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience**in an **international environment corporate or consulting,**preferably in a role related to pricing, data analytics/ science, or sales/ marketing strategy
- Understanding of **pricing concepts, methodologies,s and processes**:

- **Practical experience**in **data analysis and simulation, programming**(e.g., SQL, R, Phyton, VBA), **good Excel skills**as well as **data visualization tools**(e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- **Experience**in **empirical analytics, advanced data processing, and programming - machine learning**know-how is a plus
- **A sharp, analytical,l**and **problem-solving mindset**and a **structured way of working**:

- **Good communication skills**and the capability to align different stakeholder perspectives and requirements
- **Excellent proficiency in English**spoken and written
