You will work in an international organization developing innovative products using the most advanced prototyping technologies and supporting customers around the world. You will be designing and developing FPGA solutions for Synopsys’ IP ASIC portfolio. In addition, you will work in synthesis, simulation and timing analysis, scripting and MATLAB as well as Synopsys FPGA-based standalone platforms environments. **Main duties might include**: - Review architecture documents to develop sub-block specifications. - Identify and refine circuit implementations to achieve optimal performance targets. - Participate in the implementation of verification environments and testcase creation in both Verilog and Matlab. - Participate in evaluation and troubleshooting of TestChip bring-up. - Work towards improving efficiency in design procedures and methodologies. - Documentation of design and verification environments/plans and overall procedures. - Other related duties as assigned by the upper manager. **Development opportunities**: - Become unafraid of the unknown - Develop systematic ways to address new problems, think outside of the box. - Produce high quality work and products. - Have an impact on the new product architectures, quality and development strategies - Have the opportunity to learn the Digital flows and tools and improve your programming skills. **Minimum Requirements**: - Typically Requires a degree in Engineering or Applied Science - Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation - Good Organizational skills - Willingness to learn new things - Programming skills such as Perl, Python and TCL would be advantageous. - Experience working in UNIX/LINUX environments would be advantageous. **Duration** - 9-12 Months At Synopsys, we’re at the heart of the innovations that change the way we work and play.
