We are seeking an experienced **IT Project Manager** to join our growing software engineering team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead, plan, and manage a Transport Planning System project while working closely with the product management and development teams.
- Take on the technical leadership of a project team of approximately 20 employees.
- Develop project plans and status reports, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task distribution.
- Gather and evaluate customer requirements, translating them into effective software solutions.
- Collaborate with project members to define and coordinate technical requirements.
- Monitor project progress, maintaining a smooth flow of information and ensuring on-time deliveries to teams, customers, and partners.
- Present project results to project sponsors with clarity and confidence.
- Plan and manage the project-related budget, keeping financial goals on track.

**We're looking for someone who has**:

- A technical background and experience in managing IT projects. This may include a completed degree, professional experience, or expertise in handling IT projects, ideally in an international project environment.
- Several years of experience in project management, having led large-scale software projects in the rail transportation sector involving multiple team members.
- An independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach which enables you to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, complemented by experience in customer projects.
- Strong communication skills, making you a reliable point of contact for customers, partners, development teams, and company management.
- Fluency in English completes your profile.
