Tasks

**Main purpose of the role**: To manage, coordinate and oversee all transactions by our clients, ensuring that such are legally compliant and within regulatory requirements. To thoroughly review, comment on, and sign off on automated products. To be proactive in enhancing the client experience. To ensure that all due diligence and risk management is carried out within company guidelines. To support the automation department with any regulatory or legal questions they have regarding regard to specific templates.

**Reports to**: General Counsel with a secondary reporting line to the CEO

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- To oversee transactions carried out by the firm on behalf of clients, ensuring that they follow regulatory requirements and are legally compliant
- To work closely with clients of the company, ensuring that the service and products offered meet the legal requirements of the client and regulatory bodies
- To protect the company from any form of risk (legal/financial/reputational)
- To liaise with the Head of Automation on template quality and any issues
- To be available to answer and resolve queries from the Automation team in a timely manner
- To understand and maintain the legal nuances of the documents/templates
- Thoroughly test all templates created and ensure full QA processes have been adhered to, paying particular attention to legality and regulatory requirements for the type of template being tested/offered to clients
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure that workflow and priority statuses are followed
- Advise client-facing colleagues on appropriate turn-around times for new features or templates, ensuring that we don't promise and deliver appropriate turn-around times for new features or templates, ensuring that our client doesn't overpromise and under-deliver.

**Requirements**:
Education / qualifications / experience
- 5+ years experience in delivering accurate, client-tailored transaction documentation concerning the primary bond market preferably with experience in the English, German and/or Luxembourg jurisdiction according to the demanding timelines of DCM transactions
- Experience in working directly with fee-paying clients and exceeding their expectations
- Proven ability to produce consistent and error-free documentation
- Analytical mindset to drive and verify automatization processes
- Experience working directly with fee-paying clients and exceeding their expectations
- A detailed understanding of Microsoft Word
- Essential: Hold an appropriate legal qualification (English and/or German)
- Essential: Excellent written English language skills
- Desirable: German/French written language skills

Knowledge and technical skills
- Awareness of any regulatory or procedural changes in the DCM markets (EU, UK)
- Ability to help and advise clients on the use of our services and demonstrate how they can help the clients with their transaction business
- Proven IT skills and experience in IT systems and infrastructure
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to quickly learn and assimilate new software and technologies
- Experience in using technology-based platforms to deliver products and services
