Ocean Infinity is seeking a Technical Artist, for supporting artists and engineers in the 3D art pipeline. This role requires a strong interest in programming optimized pipelines and developing new visual features. As the Swiss army knife of the company, you can tackle any challenge on top of Unreal Engine.
**What will you do**:
- Research and develop technical tools and new visual features for the project;
- Create art workflows and maintain pipelines along with programmers and artists;
- Maintain technical documentation;
- Flexibility to adapt to the project necessities (from UI, to 3D, to programming, etc).
**Who you are**:
- Knowledge of Visual scripting languages or general programming languages;
- Familiarity with game systems and the game development process;
- Solid understanding of art and animation pipelines;
- A strong portfolio or demo reel;
- Strong communication skills;
- Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose;
- Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;
- Open and receptive to new and different ideas;
- Ability to work well in a team and independently;
- Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.
**Desirable**:
- Proven experience working with game engines showcasing a deep understanding of the Unreal engine;
- Experience with programming languages such as blueprint, C++ and/or python;
- Technical proficiency in areas of 2D or 3D art using a multitude of programs that show experience in content creation (high and low-poly modelling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, level art, etc);
- Working knowledge of project planning and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Stash/Git);
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with differences between creative and technical teams;
- High attention to detail.

**Compliance**:
- Complies with Ocean Infinity Policies, practices, programs and procedures as described in the Ocean Infinity management system;
- Successfully completes required training as identified by Ocean Infinity Training Program;
- Participates in improving the Ocean Infinity management system by reporting events, attending meetings and workshops, reporting problems, and recommending improvements, and other related activities;
- Informs their manager / responsible person of any unidentified risks, hazards, or system deficiencies in the workplace by using Stop Work authority, SOB card reporting, Incident reporting or by reporting directly to relevant personnel;
- Communicates and implements Ocean Infinity’s policies and procedures and their requirements to employees, visitors, and contractors;
- Supports Ocean Infinity’s Health & Safety, Environmental and Social goals.
